Prayers for Baby Hope

Hi, everyone. I just wanted to request some prayers for baby Hope. My friend, Ryne, has a new sister. They live 2 doors down from us. We are good friends. Baby Hope was born on Tuesday, May 22. She was delivered at 32 weeks. Her mom has had a lot of complications with her pregnancy the whole time. Baby Hope was 2 lbs. 15 ozs. I don't know how long she was!!! I never asked! She is in Aultman Hospital and will be there for awhile. Her mommy has been there for 8 weeks. She is COMING HOME TODAY!!!!! I can't wait to see you, Brittany!!!!! Baby Hope will be in the hospital for awhile. She is breathing pretty well with some help from the ventilator and oscilator. She is already breathing at 28% oxygen. That is much better than when she started at 100%. Yeah, Hope! She has a little problem with one leg right now and her chest cavity. The doctors will know more today when test results come back. We are just glad she is here...and ask for your prayers for Baby Hope, Mommy- Brittany, Daddy- Will, and Big Brother- Ryne! Thank you so much! I will keep you posted! Welcome to the world, Hope! Here I am!!! TAH DAH! My mommy went through with it...I have a big girl haircut. I was tired of it always in my eyes and mouth. So, now I am all set for the summer! What do you think????

Bad Day for Ellie

Ok....I know, I am in the tub again! But, my mommy can get me to sit there long enough to snap my picture. Can you see the bump on the right side of my forehead??? Nice, huh? It's much better now...but I gave mom a scare. I slipped on a bathmat on Tuesday night and bonked my head on the corner of our bathroom wall I dented the drywall! It was scary! I acted ok and played later with Daddy, so Mommy and Daddy thought I was ok. Well, on Wed. I started throwing up at the sitter's. I made a big mess for Sheila to clean up. Mommy picked me up. I was sick a lot at home. Mommy called the dr. I had to go in to be looked at to make sure it wasn't my head causing the problem. I had to have a CT scan. Oh, remember, I was sick the whole time. Mommy had to change my clothes 3 times. I was a sick little girl. The CT scan showed no fracture. Mommy and Daddy were relieved. But, I have a concussion and the CT scan showed that my sinus cavity is all blocked. So, I am on meds for that. I finally stopped throwing up (but I got Mommy good in the parking lot of the dr.'s office!) and wanted a popsicle around 6 pm. I kept it down and had another. Then, Mommy gave me this bath to relax me before bed. What a day. Mommy is going to stay home with me for the rest of the week to make sure I am ok. I slept pretty well last night....and wanted milk this morning. So far...so good. Pray that I feel back to normal real soon!

Sophie was groomed finally. She looks soooo pretty. I can actually pet her without creating a fur coat for myself! The lady at the groomer said she has never seen so much fur!!!! Like her bandana??? She thinks she is hot stuff!

Horrible Poster lately!

I am so sorry that I have not posted. I am doing ok....just busy. Mom is crazy with her last few weeks of school, so she hasn't taken many pictures lately. (I'll get on her for that one!) She will be posting soon....life has just been a zoo around here. We've had 2 birthdays and Mother's Day in the last 2 weeks. Hectic! I'll be around soon!!! Ohhhh...some new news....Mommy is feeling better. She is 15 weeks along this week and not feeling so yucky anymore. Yipppeee! AND...I am getting my hair cut. There will be pics for sure. I am getting a summer cut....yep...shorter and more manageable. Being 2 1/2, I need to keep my style simple. I am out and about so much...it is time for a change!!! Be on the lookout!
