Surgery #2

It's Ellie's mom taking over for a bit today....Well, what a great day it was! Reid was such an angel today. We had to be up and about at 4:30 am...and he hadn't eaten since 1:00 am...and he was absolutely wonderful through this whole day. He slept the whole way to the hospital and woke up mid way through our wait in the waiting room. He was actually smling and cooing...and he hadn't eaten for over 7 hours. What an angel baby! He went through surgery great, and the doctors were able to get 2 good impressions made. A mold will be made of Reid's palate, and he will have it placed in his palate next Friday. Meanwhile, we are taping his upper lip (pre-maxilla) to his cheeks to provide tension. The goal is to bring the lip downward before next Friday. This will make the doctor's job easier as they place the mouthpiece in. We are grateful for a productive day, and the nurses and staff at Rainbow were fabulous. We could not be happier. Love you baby, Reid. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you. What a trooper you are!

I'm so glad to hear the good news! Reid is such a good boy....I can't imagine our little Alexa going more than 3 hours without a mmmmm meltdown! :)
Good luck next Friday....

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)

Told ya, my hair can be wild! And you thought I was kidding!

Hmmm, Blue's Brother's perhaps?
