Haberman Feeder
Thank goodness for Medala bottles. I should do a commercial for them...because I could not be happier! They have a special needs feeder called the Haberman feeder that has saved us! Reid can now drink from a bottle! No more syringes...no more hauling all of our feeding supplies out with us when we would travel....no more wierd looks with feeding...and the best...Reid is able to take a bottle like any other baby. We are so happy...and Reid is adjusting well to the new way of feeding. Yippeeee!
PS...Now Mommy and Daddy can go somewhere a little easier...because they can get a sitter to feed Reid easier!

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.
Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.
We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!
Many blessing to you all.
Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)

I'm glad he's eating well. I know that helps. Luckily Ian started out with the Haberman. I don't know how else we would have done it.
As far as taping goes, we haven't had to tape his lip yet. Wish I could be more helpful. We start that next week along with the nasal stents. I am not looking forward to it, but I know it's important for his nose.
We LOVE the Haberman too! I am so grateful that we live in a day and age that a bottle exists that our little ones can use. I just don't understand though, why in the world they are sooo stinkin' expensive. I guess they know we will buy them, because in some cases it can be a matter of eating and not eating.
