I've noticed lately that Ellie is REALLY starting to want to do well on everything she tries. Maybe it's an age thing....I hope so! She gets REALLY mad if she does not win in every game she plays or does not perform a task perfectly in her mind. As you can see in this picture....she wants to color...and she wants to do it right! 
Pretty good for a 4 year old! (Oh, yeah....it's -15 degrees out....and yes, she is wearing a tank top dress. Pretty typical to see at our house!)

I was always a perfectionist for coloring. I actually won weekly awards in middle school for my neatly colored world maps! heehee Now there's something to brag about!

I LOVE the sleevless dress, looks just like our house. Ava had a sundress on yesterday and the sitter put tights and a long sleeve shirt under it! Most days I am greeted by either a swimsuit or that purple dance outfit Ellie wore when she was at our house!

Caylin is going through the same phase. She gets so mad if she colors outside the lines. She gets SO MAD! Same when we play games, she has to win!

We thought it was a phase too and that was 4 years ago. Broderick is still very much a perfectionist and everything has to be in order. It is a little annoying, but then when I see myself doing the EXACT same thing-I have to smile and realize that he is just a little me!
