Reid has MUCH to say...

Eleven Months...a litte late!

Ellie and Reid's mom here!
Life has been so crazy!!! I apologize for not posting in awhile! I haven't even been on to view our friends' blogs in so long to be updated on how everyone else is doing! So sorry! Here are some random pics from today. Reid is quite the eater and doing well. He loves bread, cheese, yogurt, and about everything you put in front of him. I think we may be in trouble during palate surgery when he can't eat these yummies for awhile!

When I was putting new sheets on the beds today, here was what Reid was doing. Reconfiguring the computer! : ) He is into EVERYTHING and loves to explore!

All boy! Oh, sporting a new haircut thanks to Brian! Reid needed a haircut so badly. Thank goodness for suckers to keep Reid busy while Brian cut away the locks!

Just being sweet. Love those eyes.

No need to get Reid birthday gifts next month.....just exotic fruits! : ) He was laughing so hard at this pineapple at the grocery store, and so when we got home...he had to check this out a little closer!

A trip to the ER today....

Ellie and Reid's mom here. What a sad morning it was! Before church this morning, Brian and Ellie were down in the basement cleaning up and re-organizing a bit (since we had a garage sale yesterday and got rid of SO much!). Ellie is always Daddy's helper, so they were taking care of everything. I was upstairs getting the kitchen cleaned up. All of a sudden I hear this "WHAM". I thought a box fell off a shelf or something. No....it was Ellie's head hitting a wooden beam. Sophie, our 100 pound Golden Retriever, was down with Brian and Ellie. Ellie found an old leash and put it on Sophie. Sophie LOVES walks and got extremely excited and took off running. Ellie didn't let go of the leash, and was smacked into a wooden post that holds up our deck on top of the patio outside of our basement. Brian ran her upstairs where I was and was saying, "I'll get ice, then we are going to the ER." I had no idea what had even happened. It was horrible. Her head got it good and her cheek. She was also bleeding out her right nostril. Scary. To make a long story short, she is fine. She is a little bumped and bruised up a bit....but no concussion or any other problems to worry about. Thank goodness. What a way to start the day, huh? We are glad she was such a trooper, and she made us proud. Murphy's Law, I guess....preschool pictures are this week. Great look she will be sporting this year for her pics!!!! Gotta love it.

Introducing....

Here are two new friends to add to Reid's cleft friends. Aren't they SUPER cute? This is Bauer. He is about 3 months older than Reid and as cute as they come! We are so glad to have "met" Bauer!

And here is Baby Camden. She is just a little peanut. She is not even 2 months old yet. She was born with a bilateral cleft that reminds Mommy a lot of Reid's lip when he was first born. She is a sweetie, and we are so glad to have her in our group of friends.

Settling in for colder weather...

Mommy trird some new hats on Reid tonight to see what fits him. It was cool enough today to wear a hat. Fighter pilot look......

...or dinosaur??? Too funny!

True or False.....

This is a toliet.

The answer is false.

It's not a toilet.....it's Reid's new playground. Yep., Mommy found him playing in it today while she was unloading the dishwasher. Lovely. She sanitized him from head to toe. Gross. Boys are so different from girls. Completely.
Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)

Told ya, my hair can be wild! And you thought I was kidding!

Hmmm, Blue's Brother's perhaps?
