A glimpse of Reid's first face....One week until surgery
Reid at the NICU.....3 days old
Happy Reid- pre NAM. He was about 2 1/2 months old here.
Reid with his NAM and nasal stints. He was about 4 months here.
Reid with his ever growing NAM pushing down on his lip. He is 5 months here.
Happy Reid...no more NAM. Waiting until surgery day one week from today. We are so proud of how you have handled this journey that you have been on. We fell in love with your first face...the one we wait for to greet us with the biggest smile around. We know we will fall in love with your new face next week just as fast. We are trying to capture every little moment before surgery with as many smiles as we can get! We love you, little guy......here's to the countdown.....

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.
Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.
We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!
Many blessing to you all.
Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)

It's amazing how much he has changed already! You and your family will be in our prayers as the surgery day approaches. Can't wait to get together again!
Hang in there everyone, you will all do so great! You have acquired so much knowledge on what to expect with Reid's surgery, but I must say, as I'm sure you know, it's not the same as actually going through it. We'll be thinking of you and Reid and can't wait to see pictures. Take lot's now, this is such an emotional time! Abby was originally scheduled about 3 weeks before she actually had her repair. She was sick so we had to cancel. Well, we went in for her pre-op 3 weeks later and got a call the next day asking if we wanted to take an open spot 3 days later. We said yes and it just seemed to happen so quick! I'm glad you have so much support from all of us blogging buddies!
It was good to see you today. I am always amazed at how fast kids grow and change and Ellie and Reid are no exception...They are both precious. I am so glad you have shared your family's journey with us through e-mail and this blog. Please know I will continue to keep you "covered" as surgery approaches. Love and hugs to all of you!!
we love you so much Reid...you are one handsome little man!
It's amazing the change in just a few months. We'll continue to pray for all of you.
We will sure keep you in prayer! I am sure Reid will do great, he's a trouper! I am sure the splints will be nothing compared to that NAM! Let me know if you need Ellie to come over. Hannah would love that!
Enjoy that precious face for the last few days before it changes. I am sure he will be just as handsome with his lip closed but we do grow to love those big smiles!
God Bless
Tina
Reid is awesome and is such an encouragement to us. We will continue to pray for his up and coming surgery. We know God's hand will be in that OR. Give Reid a big smooch from Abigail.
