Ellie's Visit

Our 1st-3rd graders had a Spring Music program that they performed for the school this past week. Ellie has always LOVED coming to see my kids in their winter music program, and so she was thrilled when Pappy said he would drive her to school to see the program! (Thanks, Pappy!) Ellie loves coming to "big school" and my kids love seeing her. She got to spend the last part of the day with me and it was super fun and special! Here are a few highlights from the afternoon!

Here is Ellie sporting her visitors sticker. It's the little things in life that make her happy, really! She also got to decorate the office tree for Easter. Mrs. Stein, one of our WONDERFUL secretaries had these adorable bunny ears for Ellie to wear and allowed Ellie to decorate the tree how she wanted to. What a treat for Ellie.
Here is Ellie with Mrs. Stein. As you can see...the bunny ears multiplied!
Of course, you can't go to "big school" and not get chocolate milk! You HAVE to!!!! This is Ellie's favorite part! She enjoyed sitting at a desk in my class enjoying her milk break. This was after all my kids had left for the day.
And of course, you HAVE to write on the big boards!!!! Absolutely! It's a great way to practice writing those letters!

And 5 minutes down the road....you HAVE to rest your eyes...because after all, what an exciting time "big school" really is!

How fun for Ellie. I know that Andrew always loved coming to my class when I was full time teaching. I had the opportunity to sub teach all last week for a fifth grade teacher and on Friday Alexis got to come by and see mommy while she was teaching. That was the highlight of her day and made the kids smile to have a little one in the class for a short time. It is the small things in life. I actually missed teaching full time (but just a little bit).
And, love the tree. I have one of those in the garage that I miss decorating. Just not enough room and Aiden is getting into EVERYTHING!!! So no tree this year. Have a blessed weekend.

Thanks, Ellie, for helping decorate the office tree for Easter. You should come in every month and help me with the decorating. Hope you had as much fun as I did!!!!

I miss my kids being able to come into my classroom. They were always so excited!!! I hated the mess that they left behind, but it was still worth it...maybe next year"?

Look's like Ellie had fun! How great that she was able to come in!

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)
