Could it really be???

Looking back to Sept. 08 when Ellie had her new school shoes on and was ready to see what this preschool thing was really all about. She seems so little in this picture!!! It is so hard to believe that Ellie's last day of preschool for this year was today. It really went fast, and it is amazing how grown up she has become in one short year.
I apologize for the darkness of this picture...but I had to post Ellie and Mrs. Thomas, her BELOVED teacher. This morning when I took Ellie to school (I took off from teaching today to be with Ellie on her last day) she told me...and I reinforce...TOLD me..."Mommy, make sure you sign me up for school again today." She is already thinking about next year. And yes, Ellie, you are all signed up for next year. No worries.
Ellie holding her diploma and her flower she planted for me. Even though in the car going home she explained that the flower was really hers since it was purple...and everything that is purple belongs to Ellie. It's the Ellie Law, you see.
Ellie and her friend Sarah after graduation.

And of course, on a special day....you MUST do special things. Ellie chose Applebee's for lunch and then she was helplessly taken on an afternoon of Mommy errands. (On a day off....I had to make the most of my time!) It was a wonderful day....with my wonderful girl. I am blessed to be Ellie's mom...and look forward to many more celebration days with her through the years. I just hope they don't all come as quickly as this one did! Love you, Ellie, and I am so proud of you!

I am not ready for Alexis' year to be over. They have 5 more weeks here in CA. Time seems to be flying by. Love Ellie's Law. My mom might argue with her on that one since she is all things purple in life. have a blessed week.

What a sweetie you are growing up to be, Ellie. I am so glad you like school and are already looking forward to next year.

Yes, they do grow up fast...tonight I got to meet the newest member of our Shreve Elem family. Kaylin is a doll!! I still remember the first time I met Ellie and look how fast that time has gone.

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)

Told ya, my hair can be wild! And you thought I was kidding!

Hmmm, Blue's Brother's perhaps?
