Family Outing Day

I have to say, Brian has been working really hard lately. We all needed a little family time today. So, we decided to pack up the kids, enjoy our time together, and head to Clevaland to the Children's Museum. As you will see, we had an awesome time together. The museum is right around the corner from Rainbow where Reid goes for all his cleft appointments. We've always wanted to check the place out, and we are glad we took some family time to do this today.
Reid loved the "nursery" and playing with the babies. He would repeat..."Baby...Baby" and just grin from ear to ear.
Ahh, yes....driving and many buttons and lights to push and explore. Reid's paradise!
Like I said.....more buttons to push on the RTA bus.
Ellie's favorite...horses. She had a fun time playing in the big red barn exhibit and LOVED that there were horses there to play with.
Grocery shopping. Ellie had fun telling me how much each item was. I think those were my $26.00 chicken dinners there and my $17.00 apple juice.

Reid shopping. Looks like he is all set....a loaf of bread and hot dogs!
Hey, look, Uncle Aaron.....maybe there is room for another doctor in our family one day??? What do you think????
Ellie enjoyed being Reid's patient.....and I truly think the last time Reid was in the hospital his gown was this exact print. Brought back some memories.

Ahhhh, yes....WATER! As you will see....we did get smarter as the day went on.....(see below)
We found the rain jackets!!!!
And lastly, Ellie built a house before we left for home. It was a super fun day, and I can just about bet money that we will make another trip up this summer to enjoy the fun again. I am so glad we got to have a family day! (next time...I need to get a family picture, I guess!)

That looks like a lot of fun! There is a place in St. Louis called The Magic House that we took my brother and sister to when they were younger and it was a lot like that. I'm hoping we can take Drew soon.

Oh, and I love Reid's shorts!!

This looks a lot like the childrens' museum we took our kiddos to during spring break. SO MUCH FUN. And, sounds like Reid is asking for a baby brother and sister in that first pic. :) haha. he would make a great big brother.

That looks like so much fun! We have never been there before, but it definitely looks like something we need to check out. By the way, I LOVE Reid's shorts...so cute!

I do use One True Media but will have to try pasting the code a second time to see if it works. What a pain sometimes. As far as the pictures go... it irritates me that they upload backwards. I have started writing out the picture #s that I want ahead of time and then just upload them backwards so I don't have to go through the hassle of moving them around. I wish they would fix that. Would make life A LOT easier. :) Wish I had more insight then that, but that is as good as it gets for me.

What a fun day with the "fam." Don't forget we have to plan a day for lunch and feeding the ducks this summer. Love the shorts, too!!

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)
