Blue eyes....

It's Ellie's mom for a moment... (double click this picture to see Reid's blue eyes up close)

This is another photograph that was taken by Scott Ferrell for us. I just love it. I think Reid's eyes say it all. I once heard a mom of a cleft child tell me that God kisses cleft kids twice and gives them beauiful eyes. This way, people will look there first, and really see the beauty of a cleft child. Of all the cleft children that I have come into contact with since the birth of Reid, I will say, they all have beautiful eyes...a little window to what is truly inside.

Thank you for leaving such a kind note about Holly Marie. Reid is so handsome! What great photos! Holly is ready to chew too, on anything! Especially thanks for sharing the thought about God kissing cleft babies twice. So nice to think about. Holly is the only one of our 4 that has blue eyes! I'll be prying for you for Reid surgery.

Hi, I found you on Mary and Holly's blog!

I just wanted to agree with you on the beautiful eyes! It's amazing isn't it? EVERY kiddo I've ever seen with a cleft, has the most BEAUTIFUL eyes! What a gift...

I have to agree. As much as I love Ian's smile, his eyes are what I fell in love with first. Reid is no exception. He has some beautiful blues. He's such a handsome little boy.

You are right about the beautiful eyes, my mom and I noticed that about cleft kids long ago. Reid is so, so beautiful! We are all so lucky to have such beautiful babies, I love them all!

I am Ian's grandmother and I have really enjoyed following Ian's website and I have enjoyed yours as well. I always go to check on Reid after I check on my grandbaby. Maybe some day you can come to Atlanta and we can finally all meet in person. Both babies have taught us all a lot about life and I feel so blessed to know both of them. I will continue to pray that Reid does as well as Ian has with his surgery. Reid will be fine so try not to worry to much!

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)

Told ya, my hair can be wild! And you thought I was kidding!

Hmmm, Blue's Brother's perhaps?
