We feel your prayers....

It's Ellie's mom taking a turn...

Just a quick note to thank everyone...family, friends, our church, the many bloggers out there that we have not even met, and the countless others around the country that have had Reid on their prayer chains. We can feel your prayers. I have been so stressed out about feeding Reid post surgery. He has relied on his NAM for all bottle feedings, and we have so enjoyed feeding him this way as opposed to the syringe that we used prior to the NAM. I have been preparing myself for possibly having to make a transition back to the syringe if needed...but we have really grown used to the ease of the Haberman. Well....today, Brian was feeding Reid, and I happened to glance over and realize that he wasn't using the NAM to aid in the feeding. (even though we aren't using the NAM anymore to aid in Reid's lip placement, we still have it and pop it in for each bottle feeding everyday). I screamed, "You aren't using the NAM....and Reid is eating!!!!" Brian simply forgot, and Reid was doing great without the NAM. I couldn't believe it! So, all today (4 feedings so far) Reid has not used the NAM, and has gobbled down 7 ozs. each time with no trouble. I am so glad Brian forgot to put the NAM in today, because I have a feeling that Reid will be used to feeding with no NAM before the surgery! Yippee! Thanks for your prayers...that is what is making this all work....I just know that! Love to you all!

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)
