My Great-Uncle Dave and Cousin Gabe...

I had such a great day today. My Great-Uncle Dave (my mom's uncle) and his grandson, Gabe came over to visit and play with me. They brought these balloon rockets that we shot into the air. It was so much fun. Here I am with Gabe. He will be in kindergarten this year. I am only going to preschool. He is my friend.

Gabe was getting the balloon ready to launch.

Here I am using the pump to fill up my balloon. They are really big!

I told you the balloons were big! See???

Reid thought the balloons were funny!

Then, we flew a kite in our backyard. It was a great day for kite flying!

Here I am flying the kite ALONE! I was so proud of myself!

Here Gabe and I are flying the kite.

What a super day it was! Come back soon Uncle Dave and Gabe! Love you!

We talked to Dave tonight. He said Ellie & Reid are so good and so cute! He can't get over how great Reid's lip looks. Dave really enjoyed the day! So glad it was such a nice day for being outdoors....it wasn't too hot!

What a wonderful day we had. Gabe talked about it the whole way home and hopes he will be able to come back. Thanks for lunch and the rest of the fun things we did on a gorgeous August day. Great pictures of the kids and just take a look at the sky in the kite picture. Doesn't get any prettier than that!!
Thanks Janeen, Ellie and Reid for a perfect visit. Love, Uncle Dave

What a fun day you all had! So hard to believe that we are on the tail end of days like that before school starts. Is cousin Gabe the little fellow who was very sick when he was younger? I can't remember what was wrong, but I believe we prayed for "a Gabe". Just curious - because this boy looks terrific!!!! Ellie and Reid, I miss you two (and mommy and daddy). Come see us soon.
Love you,
Rhonda

Hello Rhonda. Yes Gabe was the boy who was healed by all your prayers. He had a bacterial staph infection of the lungs and spent two months in the Pediatric ICU at Cleveland Clinic at the age of 2 1/2. He's now 5 and thriving with only minimal lung scarring which does not inhibit his activity in any way. He's looking forward to kindergarten this year and is truly a miracle brought about by the doctors and all of your prayers that guided them. Each day is a precious gift from God. Love, Dave

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)
