"Oh, Medina"

Ellie and Reid's mom here with an Ellie moment for you.

The other day Ellie was singing to Reid with as much gusto and heart as she possibly had in her. I was listening closely to what she was singing, and I knew it was the song, "Oh, my darling, Oh, my darling...Ohhh, my darling, Clementine...." but I had to laugh out loud because her rendition was a bit different. It went like this..."Oh, Medina...Oh, Medina...Oh, Medina..I love you." Medina is a town nearby us. I guess she thinks this song is about Medina....not My Darling. Oh, well...Reid enjoyed it and didn't know the difference! Hope she made you smile!

hee hee....don't you love the crazy things they say.

Camden loves surprades...mix between surprise and parades. I know I need to correct him, but it is too cute to even think about it. Maybe when he's 10 or so!

Matthew would probably be upset if he knew I shared this, but after reading about Cameron's "surprades," I thought I'd share a couple of Matthew's.... When he was about 3 he coined "bednight snack" and "bednight table" instead of bedtime or nighttime snack or bedside table. Then there was "home-tel" instead of hotel. We thought both made perfect sense -- still do! In fact, both are still part of our family vocabulary. We call them "Matthew-isms...." And we waited as long as our conscience would let us before correcting him on some of them! ;-)

Aren't kids wonderful...they keep us on our toes!! Over the weekend Morgan was cheering...her favorite cheer is "Who Rocked the Riders", instead of "Hurrah for Riders" Gotta love them!!!
Hope to see you soon!!

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am so glad you are here. I am going to try and show you the average life of a 5 year old from my perspective. Mommy and Daddy will help me along the way if I get stuck.

Let me first introduce my family to you. I am Ellie. I am a 6 year old. I live in Ohio with my Mommy, Daddy, little brother Reid, and dog, Sophie. My mommy is a teacher. She teaches nine and ten year olds and loves it. She has been teaching for twelve years. My daddy works with computers. He works hard everyday.

We all love spending time together. I have wonderful grandparents and a terrific extended family. I am a very lucky girl. Thank you for visiting my page. Write to me any time. I love getting mail!!!

Many blessing to you all.

Love,
Little Ski (Ellie)

Told ya, my hair can be wild! And you thought I was kidding!

Hmmm, Blue's Brother's perhaps?
